Working from home is not that different for many of us, but keeping children engaged while doing so can make it a little more complicated. From preschool to college, from paper work packets to video-taped lectures, educators are working hard to adapt to this new normal.

In addition to the numerous zoos and museums that are sharing “online visits”, we've compiled a list of instructional yet fun websites that may help keep your children engaged during this transition.

For interactive lessons and videos in any subject and any grade, check out Khan Academy. There’s even a mobile application aimed for elementary aged children!

Don’t let those foreign language skills get rusty! Try Duolingo, an interactive website and mobile application for language learning.

How about learning a programming language?  Try Code Academy, a free, easy to use website for learning how to code in any language.

Need to brush up on math skills? Check out Cool Math, a site with easy to understand math lessons. Looking for more fun? Try their other websites for educational math games, for both middle schoolers and elementary schoolers.

For budding scientists and animal lovers, take a look at National Geographic for Kids exploring everything from science to history through videos, games and more!

Reading, singing or practicing math, Starfall is a great learning tool for your young ones.
